Back to School Bash
The Back-To-School Block Party is hosted by the Families in Transition (FIT) Office of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. This annual event supports students experiencing homelessness by providing them with essential back-to-school resources. Last year, the event served over 2,500 individuals with school supplies, meals, haircuts, socks, shoes, and access to community services.
Volunteers are needed to assist with passing out back packs.
Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing it will an indoor and outdoor event. There will be a hospitality room for the volunteers.
The Families in Transition (FIT) Office of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System works with families in transition support students experiencing homelessness. This event is to raise awareness of the growing homeless situation in Clarksville as well as bring the resources to the people that need them the most.
