Life;Story 5K/10K Suicide Prevention
There are many ways you can be involved on race weekend and contribute to the success of this event, which raises funds to provide Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Services to those with little or no resources.

Volunteer Crew members will receive an Official Life;Story Volunteer Crew shirt and meal voucher. Snacks and water will also be provided. Water Stop Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and all minors must be accompanied by at least one adult. Please let us know if you have Service Hour documentation that needs to be completed - we're happy to sign off on your hours!

Life;Story is our annual event to join together in promoting community awareness and uniting in our desire to support people impacted by suicide and thoughts of suicide. Life;Story is held during Suicide Prevention Month (September) in Florida, Illinois, and Tennessee and features an option to participate virtually.
The Life;Story name includes a semicolon – a punctuation mark that indicates there is more to come, unlike a period indicating the end. No matter how depression, anxiety or suicide has touched your life, we want everyone to know there is more to come – there is more to your Life; there is more to your Story.
The project is available for court ordered volunteer hours as long as the crime is not a felony or a crime involving children.
